#1673 CD 143 STANDARD Dark royal purple.
Typically when a dark royal purple CD 143 is seen, we automatically think of one with Canadian Pacific Ry marking. This "Standard" embossing is scarcer.
The thin, tapered base is prone to damage... this one an exception with a flawless base! Overall, a very near mint beauty.
