#1690       CD 161      CALIFORNIA        Multi color mix.     

Typically when "multi-color" is mentioned when discussing "California" embossed insulators, one envisions a mix of amethyst and green.  This jewel has the burgundy toned amethyst component, but the secondary color is an unusual smoke with slight olive tint.  The secondary color dominates the dome.

Plenty of dome glass in this jewel emphasizes the well defined mix of colors!

Very near mint.
