This design was widely used by the Montreal Telegraph Company, some units marked with the company initials and some unmarked.
This attractive, rich teal colouration is seldom encountered, many times scarcer than the usual aqua units.
Shallow flaking on the base, primarily along the outer edge, and a couple shallow base chips. Three, very shallow surface chips on outer skirt (up from base) appear to have been glued back in place. Two are 25¢ size, one the size of a penny.
