Nice depth of color in this "American Union" style insulator.
All embossing is quite strong for this type insulator... it can be read from four or five feet away!
Numerous surface creases form an attractive pattern over the wire ridges and onto the front skirt.
Plunkett Family Collection. Paul Plunkett dug this one on the old Atlantic & Great Western right of way.
Update, 10:25 A.M. Friday, October 29. A condition report was forgotten in the initial auction description. Not even a half pinhead mark can be found on this sparkling beauty! So, it gets a "very, very near mint" classification. Looks like it just came out of the mold! Spectacular condition!
