#1929 CD 303-310 HEMINGRAY MUNCIE TYPE NO 76. Aqua with olive amber streaks.
Olive-amber impurities infiltrate the aqua glass, creating an attractive streaked effect in this large power glass insulator. Not as much green and less dramatic than the example sold in Pole Top Discoveries' April, 2021, Event #2104, but this one still has attractive coloration.
These colorful beauties were used on a power line in Kansas, where the majority of the swirled examples currently in the hobby likely originated, although a small number are also reported to have been found in Montana.
Both the top and bottom pieces have streaking, so it's a nicely matched pair.
Top section has a fingernail chip on the inside base edge, removing two drip points. Arc bruise above five drip points can be seen to the left in the first photo. Remainder of unit in great condition.
