#2051 CD 162 H.G .CO. PATENT MAY 2 1893 PETTICOAT. Blue mix.
An unusual and attractive mix of dark electric blue and nearly colorless glass. The color separation is most noticeable in the skirt area, where electric blue streaks and patches can be seen in nearly colorless glass.
"Petticoat" was originally engraved with mis-spelling "Petticat," which is still evident, since the "AT" was not removed. Rather, the correct lettering was engraved over top of the old.
