Description

#2093      CD 134       PATENT DEC 19 1871       Vivid peacock blue.

Produced by the Hemingray Glass Company.  Although bright peacock blue CD 162 HG Co signals were produced in sizable quantities, this smaller style, 1871 dated type apparently saw much less production.   Few examples have been found in this attractive color!

Produced with a crude "orange peel" surface, creating an old appearance with character.  Embossing on this one is stronger than most examples!

Very near mint.

From the collection of the late Cecil Boos.
