Exceptionally intense cobalt blue coloration! So well saturated, a purple tint is present in the rich blue coloration.
A note, written by the late Marilyn Albers, has remained inside the insulator for decades. She sold the insulator to the most recent owner in the 1980's. It reads: "S.A.F.N. DE V Sociedad Avonenia Fabrica de Vidreo (or translated loosely) "National Glass Factory Inc." The note further explains that only three examples were successfully brought out of Uruguay.
The tapered threadless pinhole has a very attractive pleated pattern all the way around, each raised pleat (from top of pinhole to bottom) coming to a sharp point.
Very near mint+ condition.
