Description

#2220       CD 155       ARMSTRONG  DP1      Solid pour.       Cornflower blue

An original mold was used to produce these "novelty" solid pour examples by a glasshouse in Glassboro, New Jersey during the 1970's.  Limited numbers were made in various dark colors.  Bob Moss, a collector of glass produced by Whitall Tatum, Armstrong and Kerr for many decades, states only three to five examples were produced in this color!  Therefore, it's the prize example of the bunch!

The over-poured base with thick extension adds even more appeal to an already desirable item.

Very, very near mint.

Bob Moss collection.
