Description

#2221       CD 155       ARMSTRONG  DP1      Solid pour.       Cobalt blue

An original mold was used to produce these "novelty" solid pour examples by a glasshouse in Glassboro, New Jersey during the 1970's.  Limited numbers were made in various colors.

The cobalt coloration is dark and rich, yet of a density that allows light to pass freely through the entire insulator.

Note the opaque red coloration on the entire insulator bottom, partly visible in the photo.  Attractive, heavily rippled pattern on the glass surface.

Very, very near mint.  Embossing is weak or obliterated.

Bob Moss collection.
