Description

#2313       CD 206       Unembossed.      Light green.

Known as the “Castle.”

The first green examples were found by collectors in the Taft, California area. Of the straw, blue and green variants, the green is by far the scarcest of the group. The glass color suggests William McLaughlin’s glass factory as the probable manufacturer.

The inside point of one turret has some damage.  A couple very shallow, un-noticeable turret flakes are match head size.  Shallow, hard to see half pinkie nail flake on upper portion of wire groove.  All the described flakes are shallow and not easily detectable.  All drip points and the inner skirt are undamaged.  Better condition than many of the few known.  Should easily be valued at 75-80% of a very near mint example.
