#2338 CD 144 PATENT. DEC. 23. 1890. Light green.
The 1890 date is in reference to a patent issued to Foree Bain for the surface ribs. The dome embossed units are much scarcer than the unmarked type, and this one has an attractive, true green coloration.
These scarce embossed examples have surfaced along the route of a railroad in Colorado.
Especially nice, very near mint+ condition.
