#2378 CD 128.4 HEMINGRAY S.B. Nearly colorless.
Known as the "Big Mouth," this design worked well in areas where wires accumulated heavy snow or ice, including a communication line in Kansas. Quite an unusual insulator style produced at the old Hemingray factory in Muncie, Indiana.
Very, very near mint.
