#2443 CD 154 DOMINION-42. Medium cornflower blue.
The attractive blue colouration in this Canadian communication insulator contrasts nicely with various yellow and amber examples. Clear Dominion 42 were produced in very large quantities, but the more exotic colors saw limited production, especially the cornflower blue units. As a result, they are in high demand by collectors.
Thin wisps of darker blue can be seen streaked throughout the glass.
Flake on the underside of the upper wire ridge (see far right in photo) is only 1/3 the size of a pinkie nail. Remainder of insulator is very near mint+ condition.
