Description

#2468      Unmarked.     Green.

Ears measure 2-1/2" across.

This French produced insulator has quite an unusual design, the ears being similar in appearance to the old "keys" used to wind antique clocks or a wing-nut.  It also resembles the ears on a "Columbia" insulator. One collector refers to it as a "butterfly type."

Shiny, very near mint.

Update: This uniquely designed insulator appears in a 1910-1911 Folembray catalog.
