A seldom encountered color in any style of LRI. The tab was used in conjunction with a slotted holder or bracket, thus locking the insulator in place.
Attractive underpour on the upper edge of the top portion traverses one-third the distance around. Display it this way or rotate a half turn for a fully formed top.
Few LRI's of this type survived in such wonderful, very near mint condition. Just a little flaking on the base where the center glass "punch out" was removed at the glass factory after manufacture.
Any changes in light/dark coloration which appears on the top flange are reflections, not damage.
