Description

#2531      718       Unmarked.      Aqua with "snow."

Numerous white flecks are distributed throughout the glass, creating a "snowy" effect.  Additionally, a 3/4" long white stone floats in the dome, creating even more character.

Various mods were used by several different glass companies to produce the 718 type threadless insulators.  Examples of this mold variant have been found in Canada.  Likely produced by a glasshouse that manufactured a variety of products, considering the rainbow of colours found in this mold type.

The abundance of snow sets this beauty apart from others, so should be of special interest to threadless collectors.

Shallow thumbnail chip up from the base.  Two pinkie nail chips on the wire ridges.  Shallow, 1-3/8" bruise remains just under the base surface.  Looks quite nice from all angles... the above described blemishes remaining mostly unnoticed in the snowstorm.
