#2546 CD 145 W. BROOKFIELD 45 CLIFF ST. NY PAT JAN 25TH 1870. Blue.
A seldom encountered and attractive color for a mold-line-over-dome Brookfield. Contrasts quite well with the numerous green shades/tones found in early Brookfield beehives.
Second image is a page from a J.H. Bunnell & Company catalog. Bunnell was obviously supplying Brookfield produced insulators at the time, based on the various types available on this page and others.
Glass fin protrudes outward, just above the base, where molten glass squeezed between the mold juncture.
Very near mint+ condition.
