Description

#2550        CD 154       DOMINION-42.      Yellow with amber.

All insulator types in yellow coloration are currently in great demand by collectors!  These beauties, produced by the Dominion Glass Company, are among those eagerly sought.

Attractive separation of colour is present, most of the insulator being true yellow, while the dome top has a well pronounced orange amber coloration. Orange streaks cascade down into portions of the wire groove.

Similar to Lot #2445 which sold in Pole Top's Event #2204 in October, 2022, but with a touch more amber in the dome.

Three small flakes are about pinhead size (see top ridge, right of center).  Another shallow one is a touch smaller than a book match head.  Very shallow flake on the inner skirt is smaller than pencil eraser diameter.

Most collectors would just grade it very near mint, but the very minor blemishes are being described so that everyone knows what they're bidding on.  It's quite an attractive item and the flakes are minor.
