#2561 F.M. LOCKE (patent dates) Victor (patent date). LOCKE'S PAT'S (dates). Aqua and tan.
Large, two part unit measuring 11-1/2" tall, the top porcelain section measuring 11" across.
These "gutter tops" were used at various locations, the vast majority of surviving examples found in California.
The glass sleeve is boldly embossed " LOCKE'S PAT'S DEC. 15 - 96 JUNE 7 -98." The top porcelain section has an incuse Locke marking with multiple dates and a second "Victor" marking with date. The porcelain markings are partially legible but mostly difficult to read.
Porcelain has a 2" x 1/2" surface chip on top of the outer ring. A small amount of narrow chipping to the bottom edge of the porcelain. Glass is excellent
