#2564 U-376A Unmarked "Etheridge" Mottled porcelain.
Harry Etheridge received a patent (see second image) for a self locking insulator and pin on June 25, 1901. Various styles of insulators were manufactured with this locking feature.
This large, mushroom shaped design with 5-1/2" diameter is among the scarcer types. This design was offered in the C.S. Knowles "Catalogue Number Twenty" which was issued during the early 1900's.
Very attractive, multi colored glaze.
Slight wear on the top. No chips, flakes or cracks... quite nice condition!
