Description

#2693        CD 102       N.W.&.B.I.T. CO.        Pink amethyst.

Produced for the New Westminster & Burrard Inlet Telephone Company, which operated telephone lines in the general vicinity of Vancouver, British Columbia.  Although the company serviced line  in that area, the majority of examples have been found far to the east, in a completely different region.

Various colour examples can be found in these scarce pony style insulators.  The amethyst units range from nearly colorless to a rich, darker amethyst shade.

Some milky streaks add a touch of extra character.

Very near mint condition.
