#2735 CD 178 SANTA ANA Multi-color.
Well pronounced amber bands encircle the entire insulator, creating an attractive color mix. Aqua, green and amber are present.
The CD 178 "Santa Ana" was used in various locations of the country, but saw the most widespread use for power distribution on the West Coast.
Various glass factories manufactured this design, including one or more glass factories in Elmer, New Jersey a probable source of this example.
The drawing shown in the second image is from a C. S. Knowles Catalogue.
Shallow, pinkie nail flake on the inner skirt surface and a match-head flake, up from base on the reverse skirt, do no harm to this beauty.
