#2778 CD 350.5 FOLEMBRAY NO 444. Green.
Height: 6 inches.
Another rare, power glass insulator produced by Folembray. Jim Bergman reports that possibly only about four or five are known in the hobby, all from one discovery in Italy.
This design appeared in the 1910-1911 Folembray catalog, as shown in the second photo, courtesy Lis Bergman.
If you collect French power pieces, this is certainly a rarity to pursue. It's one of he early versions of this general design, which was later modified and produced in different forms for a number of years.
CD 102 pony shown for size comparison.
Small area of wire abrasion on the upper skirt does no harm. A beauty with colorful glass, and has no chips, flakes or dings.
Here's your chance!
Jim & Lis Bergman collection.
