#2938 CD 251 N.E.G.M. CO. “PAT JUNE 17 1890” Aqua.
The embossing represents the New England Glass Manufacturing Company. This design was illustrated in a C.S. Knowles catalogue, suggesting Knowles was a probable supplier of the CD 251 "N.E.G.M." insulator.
Very shallow, match head flake on the middle ridge. Shallow flakes on underside of one ear (match head size). These are minor, and do not detract from appearance and have very little effect on value.
