#2972 CD 102 (Diamond). Blue.
CD 102 pony style insulators with embossed diamond are available in a sizable number of differing colours, making them quite popular with collectors. They were produced in Canada circa 1890's - 1910's.
Just the right density, having great depth of colour, yet allows plenty of light to pass freely throughout. Perhaps a touch lighter than some, showing off the beautiful colour more readily.
Front displays excellent. Has a small bubble at very edge of base (at base center in second photo) which has opened into a flake. Similar size, shallow flake on base edge near mold line (not visible in either photo).
The light, circular spots at left in reverse photo are fully enclosed bubbles within the glass, not damage.
