#3033 CD 690 EIV (Gardy logo) Aqua.
A giant "T-Bar" design, produced in France. The large, heavy bar at the top was designed to hold a fuse.
These insulators are quite large, measuring 5-7/8 inches in height. The solid glass, round bar at the top is 6-1/2 inches long and 1-1/8 inch in diameter! Quite an impressive insulator!
Rarely offered for sale, Pole Top Discoveries has only offered a handful of examples in several decades of conducting sales. Despite their rarity, they are known in perhaps five or six different colors/shades, so an attractive color run can be assembled (with time and patience).
Purple pony insulator shown for size comparison is not included in this lot.
