#3060 FOL Light green.
Length: 1-3/8 inches.
Embossed "FOL" on both pieces. A wire cleat designed for two wires, which were sandwiched between the upper and lower parts. Used in conjunction with indoor wiring. Once the wires were in place, the insulator was secured by inserting a screw through the perpendicular hole at center.
Many of the few known examples were discovered in the year 2000, inside the Folembray glass factory in Folembray, France. Three sizes were discovered, this being the shortest length.
All are green colored, this one being lighter and having slightly more yellow toning in the green than the medium and longer sizes.
Very near mint.
From the Jim & Lis Bergman collection.
