Description

#3073       Unmarked.      White porcelain.

Height: 5-1/8 inches.  Unthreaded pinhole.   A tall, double petticoat insulator from the United Kingdom.  The insulator had a metal protective covering at the top, and dates circa 1870.

Shown as Fig. 23 in Keith Neal's book Searching For Railway Telegraph Insulators.  The insulator had a metal protective covering at the top, and dates circa 1870.

One chip on the thin flange at top.  Otherwise excellent.
