An exceptional "see through" color! Most larger, unmarked pilgrim hats of this general design were produced in deeply colored glass. This is an exception, as light passes through the entire insulator when displayed in a north window.
An especially attractive and desirable color! We've seen only one other similar example, and it was a different amber tone.
Has a bit of a tilt, adding attractive character.
Flat base chip (see second photo). Two shallow base bruises (also visible in second photo). About one half of the base is affected with the shallow damage described previously. Little glass is removed, and the remainder of the insulator has only minor blemishes.
