Description

#600      721       Unmarked.      Blue aqua.

Known as the "Baby Wade," these Canadian threadless insulators have raised dashes on the outer surface to facilitate the adhesion within a wood cover.  They are similar in overall design to the larger, American 723 "Wade" type insulator, also originally employing a wooden cover.

They have been found only in limited locations in eastern Canada, and are quite scarce.

Some chipping on the very bottom edge, about one quarter the distance around, and a short stress fracture up from the base, as seen in the second photo.  Otherwise, no other damage.  Glass surface is somewhat hazy.

Dick Bowman collection.
