#826 CD 162 H.G. CO. PATENT MAY 2 1893. PETTICOAT. Brilliant yellow. Small, "prismatic" embossing.
A beautiful, true yellow color with excellent clarity and brilliance! Among the most desirable colors for a CD 162 H.G. Co. / Hemingray collector to acquire. The embossed H.G. Co units are many times rarer than the true yellow Hemingray-19 and also have a more intense "glow."
Limited numbers of these colorful "signals" have been found in the Pacific Northwest.
Small chip below the "2" removes half of one drip point. Smaller chip on the reverse base edge (see second photo) affects two drip points. Remainder of insulator in excellent condition!
