#984 731 TILLOTSON Dark emerald green.
Fabulous color saturation, yet light passes throughout in a north window. A rare color variant that's quite similar in appearance to an emerald gemstone, with less yellow toning than some green hues. Twenty times rarer than the deep cobalt blue examples!
731 Tillotson insulators being offered for sale are usually limited to aqua specimens, and occasionally a dark cobalt unit appears. Other colors are quite scarce to rare. Don’t be fooled by Pole Top’s recent offering of various colors from two sizable threadless collections, as this is fluke coincidence. Most of the known colored examples have been locked in those two collections for several decades, and once sold, finding similar colors offered on the market will be unlikely. This is the final colored example from both of the mentioned collections!
