#1368 CD 199 (Emerald). Bright yellow green.
A large, single piece "transposition" style insulator produced for C.S. Knowles Company, possibly at one of the Elmer, New Jersey glasshouses. These rarely found green units are highly sought by collectors, with only a limited number known. Most were found on the West Coast, including California and the Pacific Northwest, but also known to have surfaced in the Upper Midwest portion of the US.
The embossed emerald was a registered trademark of C.S, Knowles.
This design is quite prone to damage, especially the top umbrella portion. This one has a chip on the bottom of the umbrella but is still better than some of the few know examples. Remainder of insulator is excellent, and displays well from the front.
