Produced using James Pennycuick's patented process for forming threads in glass. His process resulted in well made, sharp interior threads, superior to any other manufacturer at the time.
Various designs were produced using this threading method, and several collectors have specialty collections of the numerous color and style variants.
Aqua examples can be found without great difficulty. Various pastel green shades are scarcer, but surface occasionally. This jewel, with a slightly opaque, vaseline appearance is more difficult to acquire and also higher on the "desirability chart" to collectors of New England glass.
Jelly bean size bubble enclosed in the dome adds more character to an already interesting item.
The "Diamond P" (front) side displays very near mint. Very shallow dome ding and associated paper thin, fingernail flake is visible at the extreme upper left in second photo.
