Description

#1680       CD 164       PETTICOAT.       Dark purple.

Found in this darker shade of purple, and a lighter amethyst shade.  The light examples were found mostly in northwestern Washington State, whereas the scarcer dark units have surfaced in the Vancouver, British Columbia area.

The Anacortes Glass Company in Anacortes, Washington is known to have produced some examples of this insulator style/embossing, but it is unknown if all examples were made there.   There's a slight possibility some may also have been made at a Canadian glasshouse a short period of time earlier.

Two of the 35 drip points are only partially flaked.  Remainder of insulator in wonderful condition!  A great example of this scarce insulator!
