A well pronounced band of color streaks across the midsection. The horizontal band is a strange color, having copper, puce, brown and burgundy tones! A tall example, measuring 4-1/4 inches in height.
Shallow base flake, pinkie nail wire ridge flake, and the surface has a textured somewhat dull appearance from exposure to alkaline soil.
Quite an unusual and unique item with the strangely colored streak!
Formerly in the Dick Bowman collection. Offered as Lot #28 in Pole Top Discoveries' Catalogue Sale #77 in November, 2018.
