Description

#2529       CD 679.9       FOLEMBRAY    NO 285       Green.

The baby of the T-Bar family, this diminutive gem measures only 2-3/16 inches in height!  Quite a conversation piece, and our favorite of all insulators in the auction.  Extra large and extra small insulators are very appealing, and this little jewel is sure to catch everyone's attention who sees it on your shelf.

Produced by the glass factory in Folembray, France, these mini's appeared in the 1910-1911 Folembray catalog.

Compare the size of this baby to the purple "pony" insulator in the second and third photos (pony insulator not included in this lot... for size comparison only).

Although more may exist, we've only heard of three examples in collections.  Rare and super desirable!  Will an opportunity to purchase another ever present itself????

Insulator is close to mint aside from a shallow chip on the back of one arm, a little less than half pinkie nail size.
