#2983 CD 140 JUMBO (on skirt). OAKMAN M'F'G CO BOSTON (on base). Medium aqua.
A large and impressive power glass insulator that stands over 6" tall!
Some examples were used on the mass transit system in the Boston area.
No embossed patent dates, simply marked with "Jumbo" on the skirt and the Oakman lettering on the base.
Pencil eraser diameter flake on the front wire ridge (see photo, left of center). Similar flake on reverse wire ridge. B-b size mark on reverse wire ridge. Remainder of this large brut is excellent.
