Description

#3056        CD 326.5       FOLEMBRAY    DEPOSE        Green.

Height: 5-7/8 inches.  Base width: 6-5/8 inches.  Triple petticoat.

Note the "Depose" marking, which was used on some of the earliest glass insulators produced by Folembray.

The largest in a set of four very similarly designed insulators being offered in this event.  Note the sharp, squared corners on the head and notch of these four earlier units, compared to designs with more rounded contours which followed in later years.

Jim Bergman shares they found only four of these in one building.

All embossing is well pronounced on this rare and attractive power glass insulator.

Remains in very near mint+ condition!  Fabulous for such a large power glass insulator!

CD 102 pony shown for size comparison not included in this lot.

From the Jim & Lis Bergman collection.
