Description

#3081          (Bullers trademark)     MADE IN ENGLAND         Brown porcelain.

Height 4-7/8 inches.

Bullers logo is marked on the tapered section between the uppermost wire groove and the flat top.

An unusual style that was not found in the Worldwide Porcelain Insulator Chart (U numbers).  We assume this will get a new U number, since it is very different than anything currently shown in the chart.

A tag printed "W. Keith Neal" has a hand written description stating: "Porcelain insulator with one wide groove & two narrow grooves.  Found in Bullers factory at Stoke on Trent."  One of the many unusual insulators from the Keith Neal collection.

Very, very near mint.

(Macomb pony insulator shown for size comparison is not included in this lot).

From the Jim & Lis Bergman collection.  Formerly in the Keith Neal collection.
