Description

#2996-K        CD 164       HEMINGRAY      NO 20        Dark green.

Subtle amber contaminants create brightness within the glass.

Another seldom seen color for a CD 164 Hemingray.  A collector will encounter only one CD 164 Hemingray in attractive dark green coloration for about every 10 examples of the CD 162 Hemingray No 19.

This design was illustrated in trade catalogues during the early 1900's, described as the "extra deep groove, double petticoat."  The 1909-1910 Electric Appliance Company catalogue listed them at $84 per thousand.

Exceptionally nice, very near mint+ condition.
