Description

#3085        U-2069       FORTIS   DEPOSE.        White porcelain.

Height: 4-5/8 inches.  Triple petticoat.

Marked with a green ink stamp on the lower skirt.

A highly unusual design from France, having two "eyes" and a "cross top."

From the Jim & Lis Bergman collection.

Update: 10:55 A.M. Sunday, March 26.  A condition report was forgotten in the initial description.  The base/skirt corner has a flake on the very bottom edge of the skirt that's the size of a pencil eraser diameter.  Another adjoining flake, the same size, is on the base itself (positioned like two butterfly wings).  Both are quite shallow and the combination of white porcelain and white glaze makes them nearly invisible.  Another shallow flake on skirt bottom edge is smaller than a match head.  Both areas can be seen in the first photo (just to left of center and to far right).  These blemishes are minor, and in our opinion, do not detract at all from desirability or value.
