Description

#021     CD 123     E.C&M CO. S.F.     Dark olive amber.     "B" mold variant.

Olive amber EC&M’s have been discovered along the routes of two communication lines operated by the Nevada & California Telegraph Company.  One was between Austin and Battle Mountain, Nevada and the other between Aurora and Candelaria, Nevada.  They have surfaced in both the “B” and “H” mold variants.  In the middle to late 1960’s several olive amber examples were still in service on the Austin to Battle Mountain route, much to the delight of early day collectors!

Excess glass removal along the juncture of the base and skirt, but no damage.  An especially nice, very near mint example.
