#035 CD 162 HEMINGRAY NO 19. Smooth base. Dark green with amber.
An exceptional SMOOTH BASE rarity, with only a handful of confirmed examples in any shade/tone of dark green! In all our years of conducting auctions, we only recall offering a couple of green smooth base gems. They are quite rare, and certainly on the radar of most CD 162 specialists attempting to acquire rare examples of signals.
The green glass has the added bonus of amber impurities swirled throughout.
A pencil eraser diameter, shallow base flake is the only flaw, so easily grades very near mint.
