Embossed on the dome and skirt. Numeral "6" on reverse skirt.
A very scarce item that seldom surfaces for sale. The 728.4 Brookfield is a scarce and desirable insulator. In comparison, the 731 Brookfield examples are much scarcer, and should therefore be valued at a premium.
Embossing strength varies, some easily readable, some weakened, and some obliterated. Shallow, fingernail chip in the side wire groove can be seen at far right in 2nd photo. Shallow surface blemishes, match head size and smaller, are present but detract little from the overall appearance (see both photos).
