Description

#298     CD 131.4      L.G.T. & CO.       PAT JAN 25 1870   PAT FEB 22 1870      Aqua.

Produced for L.G. Tillotson & Company by Brookfield.   This type insulator was used along the Union Pacific Railroad in Nebraska and Wyoming, and other early communication lines.

Bottom crossbar in the "F" was omitted.

Wooden match head size flake on the front upper wire ridge. Very shallow pinkie nail flake on reverse upper wire ridge (near center in second photo).  Two shallow flakes up from the base, the largest is pencil eraser diameter.  Half inch flash, up from the base is hidden by the mold line.  The above sounds like a lot, but actually all shallow and not very distracting.

Buy-Now Price: $130.

Lot added 6:50 A.M. Friday, May 1.

BUY-NOW lots are subject to the normal 12% buyer premium, added to the Buy-Now price.
