Description

#501       CD 162      H.G. CO.     PATENT MAY 2 1893.       PETTICOAT.        Bright peacock blue.

Exceptional brilliance and clarity in the glass!  The peacock blue signals produced by the Hemingray Glass Company pre-date most or all of the cobalt blue embossed "Hemingray" examples, and generally speaking , they are also much scarcer.  Although used in various ares, most have been recovered in the state of Kansas.

Great overall condition!  Has a "tissue paper thin" flake up from the base, the size of a wooden match head. Only four drip points are partially flaked, appearing fully intact without close inspection.
