Another large and impressive power glass insulator from the Boston area mass transit system. That is the only location these "straight side cables" are known to have been used A very impressive, extra large inclusion floats in one side of the insulator. Olive amber impurities surround the mass, and streak through portions of the insulator. Another vertical impurity on the opposite side.
The vertical impurity (shown in second photo) has a halo type, full length, sizable bruise on one side. A 1" x 1/2" area of flaking/bruise just below the saddle groove. Two short flashes up from base.
Some damage, but this is one wild "character piece."
