Description

#613      735      MULFORD & BIDDLE       Medium-dark aqua.    

Produced for Mulford & Biddle, who advertised in the middle 1860’s as a manufacturer of black and galvanized telegraph wire.  Apparently, for a period of time, they also supplied other telegraph related material.  

Examples of the 735 embossed Mulford & Biddle have been found primarily in the West, mostly in California, Nevada, Wyoming, Montana and to the north in British Columbia, Canada.    

One inch bruise on reverse base. Pinkie nail surface flake up from base on reverse.  Pinkie nail base flake.  Tumble cleaned.
